Reliving My Childhood hill tumbles, but replacing grass with snow in Iceland

Capturing The Spaces That Ground US

In a world increasingly dominated by private property, gated condos, and sterile developments, public parks have become sacred ground. They offer something rare: space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect, not just with nature, but with each other. I can’t imagine what kind of mischief I’d have spiraled into without that wild hill we used to tumble down in Tropical Park, convinced we were Ninja Turtles riding our shells into battle.

I document these vital civic spaces through photography that honors their design and purpose. Whether it’s a sprawling waterfront promenade, a pocket park in a dense urban corridor, or a thoughtfully landscaped sculpture garden, my work captures how people interact with place.

For landscape architects, urban planners, and municipal agencies, powerful imagery can validate public investment, celebrate community impact, and position your work for design awards, grants, and future projects. These aren’t just “green spaces,” they’re where kids take their first steps, where strangers become neighbors, where little league legends are born, and long walks turn into smoldering romances. Where architecture reflects the values of the people it serves.

And it’s not just urban parks that matter. National parks are cathedrals of open space. They preserve cultural heritage, protect ecosystems, and offer a physical and emotional reset we don’t get anywhere else. They remain an eternal tether to a simpler time, when nature wasn’t an escape from life, but the center of it. Whether it’s a neighborhood green space or a vast reserve, these environments deserve thoughtful documentation—not just because they’re beautiful, but because they remind us what matters.

If you're looking for more than pretty pictures, if you're looking for a storyteller who understands how landscape design, light, and human movement work together, I’d love to collaborate.

Prime Destinations

For travel and tourism brands, parks and landscape architecture are more than amenities—they’re destination drivers. Whether it’s the serenity of a national park trail, the vibrancy of an urban plaza, or the charm of a coastal promenade, these spaces shape the traveler’s experience and memory. I capture how thoughtfully designed public spaces invite exploration, wellness, and wonder, key ingredients for any brand aiming to market an unforgettable place. With visuals that balance natural beauty and human interaction, my work helps destinations position their outdoor environments as cultural assets worth visiting and revisiting
