Tethered set-ups are crucial for allowing us to get as much right in camera and providing client’s reassurance of their vision being executed.
Ships Are Built Different
Ships are a unique beast when it comes to production. Photographing them well requires flexibility, decisiveness, and the ability to quickly solve problems when conditions change.
Space is tight, guest experience comes first, and the ideal shooting window might be 3 a.m. because it’s the only time a space is empty. Weather can turn, schedules move, and sometimes you have two hours to make a luxury suite look like it belongs in a campaign, regardless of what the light outside is doing.
That means working lean, moving quickly, and knowing how to create the light you need.
International logistics add another layer. Flying teams and equipment around the world requires careful coordination, Carnets, customs, and a lot of moving parts behind the scenes.
I’ve handled more than a dozen cruise productions internationally, both at sea and in dry dock, and bring that experience to every project to deliver strong creative with as little friction as possible.
